 Indication  

  • Anti-emetic, antihistamine, antivertigo.
 Fetal Risk  

  • No adequate human data but suggested possible association with cardiovascular defects and inguinal hernia in 1st trimester exposure.
  • Has oxytocic effect on uterus, may induce uterine hyperstimulation and fetal distress.
  • Exposure to antihistamines in general during the last two weeks of pregnancy may cause retrolental fibroplasia in premature infants.
 Breast Feeding  

  • Excreted in breast milk.
  • Use in nursing mothers is not recommended due to the potential adverse effects in infants such as unusual excitement or irritability.
